Trying to find TI code to update M4 flash from USB thumbdrive

I have been hunting and hunting, and have not found the TI application note project code that allows you to use a USB thumbdrive to update the firmware running on an M4 chip.  I can find the USB DFU project, but that is not what I want.  I have seen some forum posts reference a project called "usb_stick_update", but when i do a search on that on the TI site, I get no results other than the same few forum posts talking about it.

Has TI removed this application note and project from the site, or am I just not finding it?  If someone could provide a link to it on the TI site, I would appreciate it.

  • Hi Peter,

If you download the latest Tivaware, it is possible that the usb_stick_update is included.

I have usb_stick_update at my Tivaware copy for my Tiva Connected Launchpad.

  • Kel,

I appreciate the reply, but I was looking specifically to find out if TI no longer posts this application note and project on their site.  I see it as a bad decision on their behalf if they simply jam the project into Tivaware.  I use Goggle to search the web when I'm trying to find something, and it doesn't appear in search results when it's stuffed into a giant library that isn't properly indexed on the TI site.

I was hoping to see a reply from a TI employee, but I may be out of luck on this.
