Hi,

I am using tmdxrm46hdk on Windows 7 x64. I want to use the serial interface of board. It is a USB to serial interface on J7.

When I connect the board with my PC using J7. Its driver is not installed and it is enumerated as "Unknown Device". I have installed CCS and related tools. Where can i find the relevant ?

Is there any document where i can find instructions of Install\Uninstall the USB to Serial driver of tmdxrm46hdk on Windows 7.

I am also unable to scan the device using "FT Prog" utility provided by FTDI.

CCS shows following error.

"Error connecting to the target:

(Error -151 @ 0x0)
One of the FTDI driver functions used during
the connect returned bad status or an error.
The cause may one or more of: invalid emulator serial number,
blank emulator EEPROM, missing FTDI drivers, faulty USB cable.
Use the xds100serial command-line utility in the 'common/uscif'
folder to verify the emulator can be located.
(Emulation package 5.1.73.0)"

The issue was related to a faulty cable. While ruling out faulty cable scenario, I had requested 2 cables. One was long and other was short length. The issue was present with both of them. So I ruled out that cable is not the issue. It appears now that I have 3 faulty cables.
