Hi, I recently bought a Tiva series launchpad TM4C123G and a little confused as to why there are 2 micro controllers on the launchpad? Can somebody please explain or direct me to a document which explains the reason??
Thanks.

Hi,
One microcontroller is your toy to play with, if I may say so - it is working micro controller, while the other is the debugger/flasher of your working micro. This is a cheaper solution compared to bigger, more featured tools.
Documentation: on your Launchpad page, there is a corresponding user manual, with schematics, BOM, connectors, explained.

Hello Adnan,
You can refer to the user guide for the TM4C123G User Guide for details

Just to give a brief overview: One MCU works as a debugger for the Second MCU, or it can be used as MCU as well.
