bin file generation

In the CCS post build steps ensure that these are in a single line and not separate lines. About 3-4 weeks that was the same issue another forum member on CCS was facing.

    I had a slight problem before making .bin file at CC5.5. See, this post below.

    .bin not created

    I used the same string as what you have post here.

    Besides from Amit's advice, that string is dependent if CCS_INSTALL_ROOT and CG_TOOL_ROOT value is correct.

As Markel pointed out , you need to ensure that the  correct path values in Linked Resources for CG_TOOL_ROOT and CCS_TOOL_ROOT .

Are you also getting an error such as "image requires ROMS directive" on building the code? If yes , then I am mentioning a solution below that had worked for me

The issue was actually due to incorrectly installed mhex4bin.exe and tiobj2bin.bat files in the CCS installation. As you can see in the post-build step these are used by CCS to generate your .bin file.

Download and install the cg_xml-v2.32.00-Setup.exe. From the installed cg_xml folder, copy and paste mhex4bin.exe and tiobj2bin.bat into "CCS_INSTALL_ROOT/utils/tiobj2bin" folder (This is your CCS installation folder).

Can you zip the CCS project, so that we can check why bin file is not getting generated?
