David,
1. The CCSv6 GUI composer is not compatible with the demo.
2. Would you please provide more specifics about "continuous refresh"? Do you want to continuously update the graph or memory window?
Thanks and regards,

We bought the DRV8301-LS12-kit, but can not make it run. The supplied instructions do not show enough details to help debug why not running. I have been working on TI other MCUs for motor control many years, but feel difficulties to make the kit run. I wonder if anyone has made it run for this kit based on supplied information with the kit package? I will appreciate if anyone can help and share their experience.
Thanks
Wally
Wally,
Would you please provide more details about the failure?
Thanks and regards,
Zhaohong
Hi Zhaohong,
Just by following the instructions, I could not make motor run. I can compile and flash code into CPU, but can not set real-time debug function. What version of CC and ARM compiler are good this kit? The fact is that software, CC, and instructions come with this kit do not work. Have your engineers tested this kit before shipping out?
if some one has tested it and made it run, could I contact to him?
Thanks
Wally

By using CCS version 5.4, the kit is working. Looks to me, the CCS version 5.2 and CCS version 6.0 are not working version for the kit. Meantime, the following setting are important:
1) gGUIobj –TPSflag to 1
2) gGUIobj –EnableFlg to 1
3) gGUIobj –CtrlType to 2 for speed control
4) Do alignment calibration
5) set SpdCmd to 0.5 (example)
6) Make sure SW1 position 5 and 7 are set on
