Code Portability Between TM4C123 and TM4C1294

Hello,

I am planning on moving my current design from a TM4C123GXL evaluation board to a TM4C1294 evaluation board and was wondering how portable the code is between the two? I am using multiple UART and GPIO ports but nothing else, are there any examples/documentation on this transition?

None that I know of. But, I remember there is someone who post here about porting his work from Tiva Launchpad to Tiva Connected Launchpad. It can be done, but will take some effort.
