We just received the Tiva C Series Connected LaunchPad (EK-TM4C1294XL) When we tried the 'download & debug of BlinkLED Example after rebuild in IAR a window opened telling Flash programming is in progress but after that, the same window is not closing. Pls tell me what's wrong with our setup.

We already have the tivaware for SW-EK-LM4F120XL-9453

then we installed SW-DK-TM4C129X-2.1.0.12573 additionally

is it ok. or anything else required?

i meant tivaware for TM4C123G MCU(SW-EK-LM4F120XL-9453). it was working fine

then we installed SW-DK-TM4C129X-2.1.0.12573 additionally for TM4C1294 launcpad

is it ok. or anything else required?

That software package is for TIva Development Kit. What you have is Tiva Connected Launchpad. So, download the appropriate software package for that below.

Then you need to install the ICDI drivers for your Tiva Connected Launchpad.

we already having an installation of TM4C123 launchpad.

Now we have installed http://www.ti.com/tool/sw-ek-tm4c1294xl

It asked for overwriting the existing, we clicked yes and installation completed successfully.

But our laptop(Windows7) is not asking for any driver when we connected the new launchpad.Already existing ICDI drivers are seen in the Device manager. But the download and debug still not working in the IAR.

When we did the same in our desktop PC(WinXP), it aksed for drivers but we dont have

from where we can download the ICDi drivers for the connected launchpad?Is it the Stellaris Drivers?

how can we reinstall the drivers in the laptop?will this solve the problem?

Actually, the drivers are installed correctly as indicated in the Device Manager.

Now the following observations:

Device manager shows that all drivers are installed successfully

IAR is working in a particular sequence

Download & debug is hanging at programming the flash

but the following sequence is working!

1.click download & debug
2. Wait for few seconds and cancel the "Programming the Flash.." status window
3. Now do the Debug without download
Now its working!Able to debug also..

Pls tell me why the single step download & debug is not working in IAR with Tiva TM4C1294 Connected Launchpad?
