I'm just starting out with my LaunchPad and am trying to go through Lab 1 (here: http://software-dl.ti.com/trainingTTO/trainingTTO_public_sw/TI_RTOS_Workshop/TI_RTOS_Kernel_Workshop_Student_Guide_rev2.10.pdf)
I followed the steps to install CCS6 (here: http://software-dl.ti.com/trainingTTO/trainingTTO_public_sw/TI_RTOS_Workshop/TI_RTOS_Workshop_Installation_Guide_rev2.10.pdf)
In step 8 I keep getting the error "cannot connect to target". The computer is hooked up to the LaunchPad in debug mode. I've re-installed CCS6 in case there was a problem having my anti-virus enabled during installation.
Step 9 in the lab asks you to load the blink_led file and because the board is not recognized I cannot load that file.
One thing to note: During the installation of TI-RTOS i installed it from the APP Store instead of downloading it like the instructions say. I did this because my instructor said to do it this way.
I am running on windows 8.1.
Does anyone know what I have done wrong?
