What are the supply requirements for the TMS570LS microcontrollers?

The TMS570xxxx6 microcontroller has two different supply levels required. These are nominally 3.3V and 1.5V.

  • 3.3V supplies:
    • Min required = 3.0V, Max allowed = 3.6V
    • VCCIO: Supply for the I/Os
    • VCCP: Supply for the flash pump
    • VCCAD: Supply for the on-chip Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC)
    • ADREFHI: High reference voltage for the ADC
  • 1.5V supply:
    • Min required = 1.35V, Max allowed = 1.65V
    • VCC: Supply for the microcontroller core logic and RAM blocks

The external supply regulators must also monitor these supplies and assert power-on reset to the micro whenever any of the supply goes out of regulation.

The full electrical requirements for these supplies are specified in the TMS570LS datasheet at TMS570LS20216/20206/10216/10206/10116/10106 16/32-Bit RISC Flash Microcontroller page 64.
