Where to find the LaunchPad DEMO PC application

Dear All

I received my Hercules LaunchPad today and according to the flyer included the PC Application Software to run the installed Demo is at the LaunchPad wiki page ,I have searched the wiki and do not find any PC application Software.

Can some one post a link to the software please

Secondly are there any software examples besides the Project 0 which I can down load to help me get started with this mcu

I appreciate any relpies

    Hi All

    I have the Demo's running now and the tool chain seems to work however this is on an XP machine ,

    I far as I can see from the tool chain it is tested and supports win 7 however my question is does some one run the Tools in WIN 8 as  my development machine is a win 8 machine (once I am up to Speed with hercules I will have to move to this machine)

    Hello Peter,

    I don't think you will have any issues running the latest versions of CCS and Uniflash on your Win8 machine. Halcogen could show some issues with font sizes that can be corrected by changing the default font to 100%.

    In regard to the DEMO software (the GUI), it hasn't been tested on Win8 and might give you some trouble. However, you are free to give it a try and see what your results are. I would recommend running it in compatibility mode if you can.

    There is also a NHET simulator that is available. This too has not been tested on Win8 and may give you trouble since it is an older/legacy tool.

    Hope this helps. Let me know if there is another tool you want to know about, but I think I hit the main ones.

    I was able to run the launchPad and the Demo in XP and happy with that ,I just want to use CCS and Halcogen in Win 8 as I want to start and make my own Projects .

    I will install CCS in my win 8 Machine and check at least i know noe that it could work
