Hi, why the lower 4 bit are no more working?
Did you attached something to them?
Have they been working for a while or never?
Which type of malfunction did you noticed or what you expected from port instead of what are you seeing?

This is a useless data without why and how or when port stopped/never worked/behaved bad in some way.
Hello Turjasu,
The simplest thing to start is to configure the GPIO's as Output and then toggle then 1 -> 0 -> 1
Also do share the code for toggle test, so that we can double check if it is correct.
Also as Roberto mentioned, has the Port B pins been used and then they stopped working?
Regards
Amit
Pay no attention to the clear evidence that those (now) errant 4 Port B traces were, "run over by a large truck!" (or likely suffered some other - clear, "over-voltage/current" and/or ESD abuse)
Having built/used over 10K MCUs this vendor - and perhaps 3 times that with other maker's ARMs - we've never/ever noted even a single pin, "DOA!" (and - one of our custom boards "was" run over - and after the smashed power FETs (TO-220s) were removed - still substantially worked.) Note while small - we rigorously enforce ESD standards - throughout the handling, production & test/verification processes.
Perhaps less time spent upon forum logo design - more time in reading/complying w/gpio's normal/customary usage/treatment - will yield bit longer MCU, "lifespan..."
(moment of silence observed now - that past/departed MCU...)
Yea cb1, the tm4c123 launchpad survived various kids hands which blown up various h-bridges and other ICs, and they treated the launchpad the same way. Only after 1 (or more) reverse power supply the MCU stoped working. Never i saw a GPIO stopped working.
Luis - I'm still (or was) observing, "moment of silence." Be respectful - mon ami...
cb1_mobile PLEASE STOP saying useless comments like " Perhaps less time spent upon forum logo design - more time in reading/complying w/gpio's normal/customary usage/treatment - will yield bit longer MCU, "lifespan..." what do you mean that people other than you donot do any studies? perhaps you should get off this attitude and rather "pay more attention to posting usefull comments" rather than boating your hotheadedness!!!!!
WE DONT NEED YOUR USELESS MOMENT OF SILENCE! THANKS
YOU HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE DO, HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE WE HAVE..SO STOP SAYING RUBBISH!
And thanks to all... I hope in future It would be rather useless for novices like us to expect a usefull and respectful replies from people like cb1_mobile. Sorry for wasting you time. thanks .. We can solve this issue on our own!
thanks to Amit and others for your help.
Many here agree - logo design should follow "mastery" of simple gpio.
Your claim that protective methods - which I clearly listed (avoidance of over-current, over-voltage, and/or ESD) are useless/rubbish - may convey more than you think about, "who you are - and what you do!"
Not one word of your initial post (nor attacking follow-on) portrays the history of your misfortune (we note that three here have asked for that) - instead you cast doubt (only) upon the MCU/board - and that fact rings hollow to most all here...
Most of all - there's an elephant in this room - it's the (potential) invasion & degrading of this forum by those (seeing your post) seeking the (hoped for) replacement of boards - and (like you) disallowing any/all knowledge of (likely improper) use...

Hi CB1, I again ask for forum splitting and use exam like to admit to non beginner level...
Don't care if most of poster don't pass to high level nor If Robregado Markel scream is important have person like me teaching to noob, this I think is another drop in level of this forum.. too many came here just to waste our time and try mess up.
On newbye I know to do simple things and on high level I know to deal with professional and courtesy of them.
I also can go to newbye level when I first use a new family.. I still feel as a newbye on TIVA but all other scream as expert then do elementary error and ... again and again...
Every time I come back I seldom find useful information and when I try some way like this to test for reliability.. No more word needed.
