Tiva EK-TM4C123GXL+sensorhub+LCD nokia 5110+relay output.

Hi all,

After reading the documentation regarding the sensor hub booster pack (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spmu290/spmu290.pdf , I understand in 2.1.1 that several pins are "occupied" for the sensor hub functions.

I am very interested in connecting an LCD display, such as the Nokia5110, but I am not sure if it is possible. Also I need a digital output to trigger a relay.

So, the question is: is it possible to have the TM4C123GXL platform + the sensor hub + an LCD screen + a digital output alltogheter working and connected at the same time? If not, is there another alternative?

I appreciate an answer of someone that has had experience with a similar design.

Best regards,

  • Hi,

    Theoretically this could be possible.

At the boards level, you must check for yourself to see what pins are used and what would be the best option for changing pins/modules to satisfy your requirements.

To help you a little bit, there are some written libraries for Nokia5110, in this tread - see what is used and what you can change.

  • Thank you Petrei. After some research, we could finally carry this out, now working. Thank you.
