You may be entering the domain of RTOS for multi threaded application. Did you check TI-RTOS or FreeRTOS data base for multi threaded applications

Hello Amit,

 I went through TI-RTOS related documents as well as examples for the same. But, all i could find was about tasks of different priorities. This will mean that only one task is going to be active at any point of time. But, that does not serve my purpose. 

kindly help me in this matter. 

All i want to know is, does TI-RTOS support multi-threading(that can run parallely) ? And if so, where can i find such sample examples.(preferably in CCS5.4)

Processor will execute one thread at a time. However based on the task priority it will do a context switch. That is what RTOS builds on top of the processor.

For details on RTOS to support multi thread, I would suggest moving the post to TI-RTOS forum
