Hercules "Unable to locate LabView Run-Time engine"

Hercules Safety MCU Demos problem. On launch error comes up " Unable to locate LabView Run-Time engine". Before this one Safety Demos installation did not want to finish coming up with "Visa is higher version", so I uninstalled it and NI run-time engine. Instalation than went without problem, but on startup same " Unable to locate LabView Run-Time engine" error message is coming up. Upon reinstaling NI run-time angine and visa shared components, same message is present.

How could this problem be resolved?

I remember struggling with this on Windows 8.1. My oscilloscope had already installed a version of NI-VISA that the demo was not happy about.

I can't remember how I fixed it, but this is the installed version that I ended up with:

NI-VISA 5.4 for Windows

Hi Jean-Marc,

it is working for me. My demo works. I was trying to explain to the original poster that I had the same issue, and that it works fine for me with VISA V 5.4.
