TMS570 Development Tools and functional safety features.

Hi, Quetion is.... If ARM SD-5 development tool will be used for TMS 570 development, Is there any problem with TMS570 functional safety features, compare with CCS tools.

Sorry for basic question, currently on studing and choosing TMS570 and development tools.

Hi Mitsu,

The safety features built in to a Hercules device are independent of which compiler tool chain you use. Independent of which compiler tool chain you use, you will need to go through verification of your software as well as qualification of the compiler.

We do have a compiler qualification kit that we put together to make this task easier. See below link for details -

Actually , I'd like to know just compare with DS-5, secure or not!? Is this not easy question?
