Are you seeing any error during installation of the Safety Demo?

Was Labview already installed on your PC prior to install Safety Demo?

An old version of Labview was installed prior to intsall Safety Demo. I install 2014 version after.

I just try to re install the safety Demo. I have the following error message: Error running msiexec /i D:\.....\VisaSharedComponents32.msi /norestart : Program ended with an error exit code.

When I first intsall the Sfety Demo Kit, there was an old version of labview (I didn't remember which one). So when i saw the error message which requires a version after 2010, I have installed the 2014 version.

Can you try to uninstall all labview components and delete the registry entry of the national instruments(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\National Instruments)

and try to rerun the demo installer.

Let me know whether this resolves the problem.

Hi,

When trying to install the safety demos( with the labview 2014 already installed) I am also observing a similar behavior(I am seeing the error message).We will try to address this in the next release of the  demo software.

Mean time to address your problem you can uninstall the Labview 2014 and all labview components like VISA in your system and remove the registry entries of the labview.The images attached here should help you do this.

After this try to install the Demo software and you should be able to install the demo software.Let me know if this helps you install the demo software.2728.clean national instruments.zip
