Hi,
It is possible to reverse the polarity of communication UART (RX / TX) for firmware?

If it is possible that the command / configuration to do?

Need to communicate by uart with reversed polarity, it is possible to be the output of the microcontroller, without involving an not gate.

Hi,

No, this is the standard RS232 which states the polarity. It is this way because usually you may add a level adapter like MAX3232 which reverses the polarity as you wish ( and these are in fact the polarities as set by the standard). This is somewhat historical, since this standard was in use before the microprocessors.

My question was because it another type of microcontroller can change the polarity on the output ...

On standard interfaces we do not change polarity unless the specification allows for it.
