error led turns on

Error LED is connected to nERROR pin of ESM module, which has 3 groups classified based on severity of error.

ESMSR1 and ESMSR4 reflect the status of Group-1 errors only.

Can you also check ESMSR2(Group2) and ESMSR3(Group3) which should give you the error source.

Once you find the exact bit, then pls use the ESM Channel Assignments table to understand the exact error source which created this error.

i checked ESMSR2 & ESMSR3 registers too. the value is 0x00. what else will case the error led to glow?

i ve another problem too.

i just wrote a code to copy the function into sdram and then call that function.

NHET1(17) led is also glowing along with the error led once the code is loaded.

Can you step in to your code with debugger connected and let us know what makes this ERROR led to go ON ?

Try to place the following assembly code just before the code you suspect, which will keep the processor wait, so that you can connect the debugger and then force the PC to next instruction and step forward with breakpoints.

but the problem is the led turns on when the program starts loading and before i run the code.
