Set up CCS for Tiva C TM4C1294 Connected LaunchPad

I have CCS version 6.01 installed and set up to work on the MSP430F5529 LaunchPads. CCS shows all of the libraries, examples, and tutorials associated with the MSP430 devices.

Now I want to play with the Tiva C LaunchPad and want CCS to "know" about all of the same content for the TM4C. What's the proper procedure or download(s) needed to integrate this additional content into CCS?

Hello Ray,

Download and install the TivaWare-2.1.0-12573 full installer. Then import the examples into CCSv6.

Hi Amit,

The "Full Installer" version is a huge zip file and includes CCS, so I assumed you meant "Full Release" version, which is an exe. After installing this I ran the File - Import wizard and found I needed to instead run the Project - Import wizard. I was able to create a "Tiva C Series" directory, then import all of the projects of interest into it.

I'm now have a full Tiva C toy box to play in - THANKS!

Hello Ray,

There is a full installer for TivaWare along on the TI website under TM4C. Anyways sine you have the full version with CCS that would also do.
