Port the TMS570LS31 HDK FlexRay Example to the TMS570LS12 HDK

Hi

I'm trying to port the FlexRay Example from the TMS570LS31 HDK to the TMS570LS12 HDK.

My setup consits of two HDK's which each have a FlexRay TJA1081 Phy. This two boards are directly connected with 2 short twisted wires.


On the RX/TX Pins of each controller i see that they receive the Message from the other Controller. Both controllers are the howl time sending Startup Messages. (Null Frame Indicator = 0, Sync Frame Indicator = 1, Startup Frame Indicator = 1) So it seems that they aren't able to finish the FlexRay startup.

Are there some differences between the LS31 and LS12 FlexRay Controller? Or have i made some stupid error? Any tips what i should change to get the startup finished?

    Hi Fabian,

    The flexray code has been tested on LS31x HDK, but not verified on LS12x board, but I am pretty sure it should work without any issue on LS12x board. Both devices have the same Flexray controller. What changes have you made to the example code for LS21x? Does LS12x use the same clock as LS31x?
