TM4C129X Dev Kit (DK-TM4C129X) & USB examples...

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EK-TM4C123GXL, EK-TM4C1294XL

Hi,

I have just bought the TM4C129X Dev Kit (DK-TM4C129X).

What I need is to know how to use the 15 examples about USB.

I can't find something as "Workshop Lab", as in the case of Tiva launchpads : EK-TM4C123GXL   and

EK-TM4C1294XL..........

Thank you in advane.

  • Hello Daniel

Most of the documentation (except for HS mode and ULPI Interface) will remain the same on the TM4C129

  • Hello Daniel,

The examples from TM4C129 v/s TM4C123 are the same as all of these use the FS/LS mode. The documentation that was applied for TM4C123 would apply here.

What would not be the same is the part definition, pin mapping and revision, which is handled by the "Difference between TM4C" Application Note. I agree full documentation is required but since the functionality is incremental , they get covered by smaller Application Notes.

Hi Amit, I found documentation of TIVA not so complete as we can expect, far from MSP and C2000 series, I suppose this can be due to recent release and work in progress too for this joung product. Can we also know when a new TIVAWare release or patch can be released (approximate too if not NDA).

Just hope TIVA grow and don't disappear after initial launch phase.

  • Hello Roberto,

TivaWare release with Software Bug Fixes that have been reported and code updates soon. New Feature release not so soon. The documentations are on a FCFS basis. Remember the legendary CMSIS, that stopped working. This is first going out soon as well.

    Regards
