hi everyone!

I have a problem and i don't know how to fix it.

The problem is when i finish the program and "add file driverlib" in TivaWare.

I make a project about basic PWM in Kit EK-TM4C123GXL and TivaWare_C_Series-2.1.0.12573.

Then, I right click on project, add files, chose c:\ti\ Tivaware_C_Series\driverlib\ccs\debug\driverlib.lib

CCS show me a window: Links file to PWM could not link: driverlib.lib

It would be nice for me if anyone could tell how to fix that.

when click "build project", console show:
error #10234-D: unresolved symbols remain
error #10010: errors encountered during linking; "PhimBamGPIO.out" not built
>> Compilation failure
gmake: *** [PhimBamGPIO.out] Error 1
gmake: Target `all' not remade because of errors.

Hi Amit,

We note this poster has issued (always famed) "Self-Awarded" Verify Answer!

And clearly - there is no answer!

Might this "abuse" lead to a forum improvement via the, "Disabling of self-awarded, Verify Answer?"

This "self-award" plagued old forum as well - this is not a new issue - yet perhaps (now) proves a convenient opportunity to, "Make an improvement!"

Select, "Use rich formatting" at bottom right. There is a tool to attach file there.

Hello Binh,

In the code there was an error for the API Call. (please look at the word Type in the below mentioned API call. It is supposed to "Type" and not "type")

GPIOPintypeGPIOInput(GPIO_PORTF_BASE, GPIO_PIN_4);
must be
GPIOPinTypeGPIOInput(GPIO_PORTF_BASE, GPIO_PIN_4);

One way is to just use example program like "hello", then just append your code.

Hello Binh,

I would second Kel's post. If you are a new user to CCS and are creating a new project by your self, it would be advisable to import a known example from TivaWare and use that to add your own code/

There is a laboratory workshop for Tiva Launchpad, that you can learn from. But, that was made years ago and not updated for current Tiva Launchpad and Tivaware Version.

Instead, you can learn from the laboratory workshop for Tiva Connected Launchpad, which uses CCS V6. There is a part at the workshop that discusses creating a new CCS project for scratch. Take note that this workshop is for Tiva Connected Launchpad.
