Hi,

I am trying to use TM4C123gh6Pm in my own custom design, but VDDC voltage is in the order of Millie volts and there is not any oscillation on Xtal pins.

Attached is the schematic of the design.

could you advise me how can I solve the problem?

Hello Majid,

If the VDDC is not coming up, then the only cause that can be there is that either MCU-VDDA3.3 or 3.3V is not up

Thanks Amit,
There was a cold solder on MCU-VDDA3.3 pin, I fixed that and it is working,
As long as I know VDDA is for Analogue part of Microcontrller, why do we have to connect it to 3.3V? I dont use analogue part of the MCU.

Hello Majid

For the device to start correctly we need to ensure that both VDD and VDDA are well powered. Just because it says its for the analog part of the device does not mean we can exempt it. After all even the reset release mechanism is analog.
