ACIM motor kit is planned to port to new TIVA?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8301, DRV8711, CCSTUDIO

I recently bought an C2000 kit with DRV8301 to prepare a special ACIM motor driver board to my project, I see Instaspin is a good product but far from spin in minutes..

I solved many issue present on but this HUGE project is plagued by Windoze issue and software install on Linux WINE but not on Winzz native due to lack of space on drive and bad habit of hardwiring drive letter to software....

From point DRV8301 Boosterpack is compatible to TIVA launchpad too and this can save a processor, how far is porting to TIVA of old ACM kit

What it was on that kit was enough for my application and more simple to control than havig to deal M$ timewasting things.

Worst I also broken DRV8711 GUI webapps was only running in windows native...

  • Hello Roberto,

As of now, there are no plans of bringing over the RDK over to TIVA platform. But it is a good suggestion and I will ask the team to look into the same. Do expect a response in a few weeks as we get back after the holidays.

    Regards
    Amit
  • Amit thank again for fast and kind answer so wish list:
Do Amit a good vacation and premium for his application to firm reputation and forum too.
    A good book about TIVA
A good user manual of CCStudio comprensive of compilers widgets and all is attached to that. (good but useless without a guide)
At last again many thanks to you Amit.
