Migrating LM3S to TM4C Ethernet

Using Keil(4.7) and the EK-TM4C1294XL PCB. I am trying to migrate a project(using stellarisware) from a custom LM3S9B96 Board. The LM3s Version fo the project uses LM3S_EMACS for all things ethernet. I see there is no ethernet component to the driverlib(tiviaware) anymore so I am wondering what the correct path forward would be to get the ethernet working?

<Hi Ryan, I am using Ethernet on new TIVA, driver and working examples are in Library, do you have the latest one?
I am not using Keil but CCS did you see examples/boards/ek-tm4c1294xl ?

I did, I was just not sure if there was a new EMACS drop in driver replacement or what all modifications need to be done.

Hello Ryan,

The new ethernet MAC is not a drop in replacement. The driver files are now kept in driverlib as emac.c/.h. The third part folder has functions for the firmware components like uIP, lwIP.

I guess I was wondering if there are any examples of using the new emac driver with the Keil RL-ARM RL-TCP-Net realview library? Or an example of how to setup the 3 main Driver functions(init_ethernet, interrupt_ethernet, send_frame).

Hello Ryan,

You can refer to the example code enet_uip or enet_lwip for Initialization of the Ethernet MAC+PHY.
