LCD TFT Touchscreen - Controlling brightness

I am working with the TM4C129XNCZAD evaluation board and I need to be able to increase the brightness of the screen. Is this possible and if so, how do you do it?

    Hello Marshall,

    Please see the DK-TM4C129 User Guide for LCD Section. The jumper which by default is in 1-2 position needs to be put into 2-3 position. Then a PWM wave of 50K-100K can be applied via the TM4C129 PWM Controller. The DC of the PWM pulse will cause the brightness to be adjusted.
