Halcogen errors when opening project

Hi,

I am using Halcogen 4.2 with the TMS570LS0332. When I try to open my project I get a series of errors, but it seems to import correctly. Any idea what is going on or how I can fix it?

Hi David,

On which version the Project was created?

Can you please share with us the HALCoGen project ( .dil and .hcg files including the backup .dil and .hcg).

It was probably created on version 4.0. The files are attached, there are no backup files in the directory.

I've tried to import this project and generate code from it.
I didn't get errors in the output window.
I did get the same errors (IMy output window didn't show them the first time when I was running it in 'auto-hide' mode)
I'm using 04.02.00

There seem to be odd values in your .DIL file.

When I replace your value:
DRIVER.HET.VAR.HET1_BIT0_XORSHARE.VALUE=0
with what appears when you create an empty project:
DRIVER.HET.VAR.HET1_BIT0_XORSHARE.VALUE=0x00000000
The first error disappears.

Do you know how that value '0' came in your .DIL file in stead of '0x00000000' ?

I've hand-overwritten the error values in your DIL file with ones from a fresh project's dill file.

Can you test the result?

I could not reproduce your Issue..

I created a TMS570LS0332PZ Project with 4.01.00, Opened in 4.02.00 -- It Works Fine with no Error Message
I created a TMS570LS0332PZ Project with 4.00.00, Opened in 4.02.00 -- It Works Fine with no Error Message

The observations of Jan Cumps is the only thing I could think for your issue. Have you by mistake edited or ran over some scripts on the DIL file. If not then try pls to replicate the issue with fresh project, if you still get the issue do let us know.

The modified file seems to work, but we haven't modified the file (outside of halcogen) or ran any scripts on it.

I had this happen on another project that previously opened with no errors. I made several changes on the het tab including generating pwm, using edge capture, and setting up pins on the cap tab. After I did this and generated code, when I opened the project again I saw the errors.
