Learn rtos - Tiva board

1. I want to learn RTOS with TI's TM4C board. I use Keil.
2. I had searched on net & checked that freertos is used very frequently.
3. What is best way to learn freertos. (I have to learn to basic of rtos also)
There is book on freertos website, is it right place to start?
Or any suggestions for that.

Good start. Books are your friend. But try doing small experiments with the EK boards to consolidate your learning.

To expand on Amit's response. I found a freertos example in TivaWare for the DK-TM4C129X board.

I agree w/ Amit, get books (search FreeRTOS on Amazon). If you don't already understand basics of Operating Systems concepts, get the famous book (ISBN-10: 1118063333) by Silberschatz et al.

Also, refer to the documentation in FreeRTOS site ( http://www.freertos.org/FreeRTOS-quick-start-guide.html
