FreeRTOS v8 on TMS570LS0432 with HalCoGen v4.02.00

I am getting many (257) compiler errors in FreeRTOS files when trying to compile blank TMS570LS0432_FREERTOS project generated by HaloCoGen v4.02.00

The errors are wide ranging, but mostly dealing with undefined identifiers or syntax issues.

Has anyone been able to initialize FreeRTOS v8.1.2 on this part, or any TMS570 using HalCoGen?

Hi Christopher,

There has been few changes done in the FreeRTOS port from HALCoGen v04.02.00.

As mentioned in the release note, please enable GCC extension in your CCS project and try. (Project properties->Build->ARM compiler->Advanced options->Language Options->Enable support for GCC extensions)
