Regarding REERTOS

Hi TI Team,

We are using TMS570LS3137 and we want to develop Real Time application.We are using code composer 6.01 and halcogen 4.0.2.

We want to know how efficient is freeRTOS.We have used halocgen generated code in ccs6.0.1 and it is working.For real time application we need RTOS so we founf freeRTOS option in Halcogen.So is this freeRTOS is free and whether it can be used in commercial appliaction.

Pls suggest us how efficient is this

It is a simple RTOS so that the overhead should not be big. You will need to do your own measurement to see if it would suit your application. The easiest way is to toggle a IO pin and monitor the pulse width on a scope.
