MAC address for programming TM4C129ENCPDT

Hi,

We have successfully completed development of our software on the development kit TM4C1294

We need to transfer this code on our target board. We need MAC address of the processor ICs. Let us know how do we get this.

Please let me know the procedure.

Hello Utpal,

TI does not allocate customer MAC address for TM4C129 devices. It is the developers responsibility to use a chunk of allocated MAC address to them.

Dear Amit Sir,
Thanks for your quick reply.
As i know i can program the MAC address using LM flash programmer .
when my target board is connected ,by default it will take the MAC address ?
if i am not correct ,kindly let me know the procedure.

Hello Utpal,

Yes, the MAC address can be programmed by the LMFlashProgrammer. However you need to be assigned a block of MAC Address. For more details you must go through IEEE

standards.ieee.org/.../public.html
