Hi All,

in the How to start document for LAUNCHXL2-RM46/57012  the Motor Drive BoosterPack BOOSTXL-DRV8301 is also mentioned. Is any example code provided to run motor with help of this EVA boards?

I know that, there is Motorware library delivered with RM46x Motor Control Kit. However it only covers this kit. Are they any plans for this library extension, additional examples to cover mentioned Launchap and bosterpack?

    Hi Mipl,

    We definitely took the DRV8301 booster pack into account when designing the launchpad, as we had to include jumpers to disconnect the power rails specifically for this board (Because it includes an on-board regulator that would conflict w. the reg on the launchpad).

    But no - we haven't specifically converted any of the motorware code to the launchpad yet, and don't have a nearterm plan to do this (lots of other things to do) so you could be the first :) [someone has to be first].

    I don't know that much about our motorware package but I'd think it would be possible to adapt it to run on the launchpad; since it's based on the same device as the CNCD.
