Hi Friends

i'm uising ccs 5.5. I would like to open(Not IMPORTING) an existing project. How can I do that?

Hello Sanjay,

CCS maintains a list of Active Projects in a workspace in the Project workspace tab. If the project exists then right click and go to Open Project. If you want to open an existing project that is not in the tab or workspace then it is still importing it.

Hello Amit

If i import an existing project then ccs shows an error that same project already exist in workspace. And it is obvious because that project already exist in that workspace. Actually in past i deleted that project from the workspace in ccs without deleting it from its original location. Now how can i open this project?

Hello Sanjay,

You can create a new workspace and import the duplicate projects there. Alternatively for in-situ compilation, remove the .ccsimportspec file and it will run the code wherever the project is without importing it.
