TMS570 GIOA Interrupt

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HALCOGEN, TMS570LS0432

Hello TI

I use TMS570LS0432 Launchpad with FreeRTOS and Code generated using HALCoGen. I wanted to detect Falling Edge interrupt on GIOA7 when push-button is pressed.  I've connected DSO to GIOA7 pin available in J2.

Now that having enabled the Pull-Up, enabling Interrupt in GIO PortA and checking the option 9 in VIM Channel 0-31 tab,

in DSO I see a waveform that is low by default, goes to high and drops down while falling edge gets detected and then runs low.

But I guess with all these configurations done, the waveform must be like this.... GIOA 7 pin is high by default, drops to low and goes high when falling edge is detected, runs in high level until next interrupt.

Please provide a solution for this. Or is the configuration wrong for the second explained waveform to be obtained?

Thanks in advance !
