I am working on a railway signal control system that will be certified to IEC61508 SIL4.We are using Code Composer v6.0 and HALCoGen 04.02.00 for the TMS570LS1225.

I saw at the web page below that TI is coming out with a SafeTI HALCoGen Qual Package （SafeTI-HALCoGen-CSP） for ISO 26262.

I would like to get some information about it:

1)      What is supplied with the Qual Package?

2)      When is it available?

3)      Can the software test be made to help making safety certificate report ?

4)      How much will it cost?

5)      Recently the website has a evaluation version. What function and limit it has ?

Any help is appreciated

    Hi Andy,

    The best way to answer the content questions is for you to go to www.ti.com/.../safeti-halcogen-csp

    There is a 'demo' package that you can download, it gives an example of the content. So probably that answers #5 - the eval version (DEMO) is for you to get an idea of what is included in the final package. It's not the complete package though and you should not use it.

    Also you can select 'Request' for the CSP package itself and that will get the quote started. I believe it's more than 10K but not sure exactly how much we are asking.
