How to use SSI to connect ADS8860EVM (adc 16 bit) to TM4C123G Launchpad

I have an ADS8860EVM and I want to detach it from the evaluation board and connect it to Launchpad TM4C123G.

I want to sample data coming to the ADC and send it to my launchpad.

I chose the 3-wire method from ADC datasheet but I am confused how to send signal from TM4C123G to start SSI connection.

should I use SSI0Fss or SSI0Tx to start the conversion and where this connection should go; to CS in the ADS or a pin that receives SSI frames.

Please clarify.
