Hello everyone,

I use the EK-TM4C1294XL LaunchPad, I have a question about SPI SSI , it is possible to change the Slave Select pin of an SSI (eg SSI0).

Hello Fares,

If you mean the Fss pin, then besides the pin options present in the data sheet others are not possible.

Okay, It is possible zu send a data about one pin to several chips (2 or 3 chips).

Hi Amit,

I've another take on poster's (unclear) question.

If he intends to use TM4C as the "Slave" in his SPI system - your answer is correct.

However - there's a good chance that the TM4C operates as the SPI "Master" - and in that case - he may migrate the "Fss pin" to any free GPIO - provided he then manually controls that GPIO - and removes the (original) Fss pin from it's SPI configuration set-up.

[edit] Poster's most recent post just "crossed" w/mine. Still (and spectacularly) unclear - is whether TM4C is a "Slave" or "Master!" Unguided poster's "know" what they seek - but w/out proper steering - a single response thread deteriorates into 6-7 and beyond...

Hi Amit,

Once again - post from this reporter @ 10:09 clearly deserves, "Verify Answer." Relying upon posters to, "Do their job" seems not to work...

Hello Fares,

In that case you can use the GPIO's as CS, manually making them 0 before communicating with a slave and then making it 1 to deselect the slave. The Fss is not required in such a case.

Indeed cb1 deserves "Verify Answer" and beyond.
