XDS100v2-arm Emulator incompatible with DK-TM4C129X Dev Board

I have a DK-TM4C129X Development Board. I also have an XDS100 emulator (p/n TMDSEMU100V20-ARM). The connectors do not match.

The dev board has a 20-pin emulator connector at location J1; the pitch seems to be 0.05".

The emulator has a 10-pin 0.05" connector and a 20-pin 0.1" connector. The supplied cables are 10-pin to 10-pin 0.05pitch and 20-pin to 20-pin 0.1 pitch.

Is there an adapter available to transform between the two sizes of 20-pin connectors?

So, I have to buy the Code Red emulator to get the cable to connect the TI emulator to the TI development board?

Please clarify -- does TI have a standard solution on how to connect the TI emulator to the TI development board or are users required to design and fabricate the necessary adapter?

I checked the TI repository and I did not find such a cable. If the issue is with using the JTAG then wiring the Jumpers to the Emulator is also a viable solution.

According to the BOM in the TivaTM TM4C129X Development Board User's Guide SPMU360, J1 has a 2mm pitch.

In which case, https://segger.com/jlink-adapters.html#JLink_2mm looks a suitable adapter to convert from the 20-pin 0.1 pitch on the emulator to 20-pin 2mm pitch on the the board.

Edit: The DK-TM4C129X has an a built-in ICDI debugger. Is the built-in ICDI debugger suitable for your use?

The "J-Link 14-pin TI" Adapter from Chester's link seems to be appropriate.

Tom, have you tried his solution and verified it?

The XDS100V2 connection to the chip is nice to see because it is what I will be using once my prototypes are finished. It is nice to prove every concept before spending money, but using jumper wires and glancing between the pin outs takes time and makes a mess.

I never got the emulator to work with the board, but I did not try very hard.

We used the chip in our product and did firmware development one the board once the hardware was available.
