I am using the TM4C129ENCPDT ADC and it is not clear to me whether or not the processor can initiate sampling of a sequencer regardless of the ADCEMUX Trigger Select setting. For example, if I have sequencer 0 configured to trigger on an external GPIO (ADCEMUX.SS0 = 0x4) and it is enabled (ADCACTSS.ASEN0 = 1), what will happen if I set ADCPSSI.SS0 = 1? Can I initiate sampling of a configured sequencer at any time (if the ADC is not busy) by setting the respective ADCPSSI.SSn bit when the ADCEMUX.SSn != 0x1?
