TI compiler proven in use

I'm looking for information about the TI compiler for the RM42 being proven in use.

Is there any information available about how many installations there are likely to be, or how many RM42 based products have been developed, and how long the compiler has been around?

In 2014 there were 196430 downloads of CCS. 23% of those installed support for Hercules. People tend to install support for all ARM MCUs vs one family.

We have no specific data on how many are actually using Hercules or a specific product. Once it is downloaded

The ARM compiler has been around for 10+ years. We started with ARM7. I can get more specific if I need to.
