TM4C123G FreeRTOS port

Hello,

I'm looking for FreeRTOS port for TM4C123G version 8.0.0 or above. I'm aware that there are FreeRTOS demos included in TivaWare software package, but those are of version 7.0.2 AFAIK. I've already tried to upgrade, but without any luck so far. Does anyone has working port and is wiling to share?

Some of the naming conventions have changed across versions (e.g., vPortSetInterruptMask -> ulPortSetInterruptMask) so I'm guessing that is what you're running into. Here is a repo of the modified port files needed to run FreeRTOS v8.0.0 with the TM4C.

Hi David,
Thank you for posting. I've checked your software, and as you said it's 'mostly' working. I'm now working on porting my application to v8.0.0 you provided. Sometimes I get FaultISR, but didn't have time to investigate, probably something wrong with my code. Anyway thanks again. Helped a lot.

Hi BT,

When working in pure FreeRTOS stuff I don't get the FaultISR stuff too much.. I do see it but mostly when I user the Tiva Driver Library calls in an illegal way.

Setting a pin to output without first enabling the port as a GPIO first.. etc.

Glad you found it useful, If I get the time to make the demos pass I'll update the package... I don't think we'll get a lot of FreeRTOS support as the TM4C123G board is a supported port for the commercial OpenRTOS package.
