TM4C1294XL lacks battery connection for RTC?

I need to preserve RTC running on Launchpad TM4C1294XL at power off condition.

But, I searched and not found any connector to connect a battery to pin 68 of MCU in this launchpad.

Is this a design fault or is there technical reasons to not connect such a battery to VBAT pin (68)?

Any ideas about, please?

Hello Sergio,

You may have to remove R39 resistance and then use TP11 to provide a battery input to the VBAT rail on the EK-TM4C1294XL

Hello Sergi,

Please note that the board is populated with such resistors, so it would be a good idea to check the schematics if some signal does not behave as expected.
