TM4C129X SDRAM signals are clashing with Ethernet MII interface. - V5 and V17 pins

ANNAREDDY VENKATA SIVA REDDY

Looks like TM4C129X can not be used for applications where SDRAM and Ethernet functionality is exist at same time. V5 and V17 pins are shared between SDRAM and Ethernet MII interface lines. Is any one know how to manage this interface without effecting the functionality of both features?

Hello Siva Reddy,

Unforunately, the MII and EPI interface cannot be decoupled on the conflicting IO's.

OK, thanks for confirmation. A different question, do you have a software library to make soft SPI master using ios

OK, do you have a library that will enable us to use any GPIO pins to use as SPI. The reason is we have consumed all SPI ports that Controller is giving now I need additional SPI port.

No, it will not be a Soft SPI but will use the actual SSI module.
