Hi,

I have Recently bought the TMS570LS12x Launchpad, and when i am trying to Flash it with the built in example of SCI-UART9600, The Terminal is not showing anything i have checked every possible configuration. Even Bypassed The Code from Halcogen by configuring the Registers myself Still nothing on the Terminal.

Please help me through it, I want to see the output for this controller on the PC UART.

Also i have flashed the ADC example still nothing on the terminal. I have followed exact instructions from the HALCOGEN and flashed the example file.

Can I have a Tested Code for the Launch pad so that i can check it isnt a Hardware error/configuration error.

I just followed the example and I was able to run it without any problems. Could you send me your project so I can take a look?

Hello:

I'm sorry for my late response. I just tested your project and it works just fine in my board. Are you configuring the right port in your terminal? It should the port identified as "XDS110 Class Application/User UART" in your device manager. Settings: Baudrate 9600, Data Bits 8, Stop Bits 2, Parity None, Flow Control None.

When you execute in debug mode, is your code reaching sciSendByte API?

Hi,

Can you please tell me your settings..as i am facing the same issue with SCILIN. I have set the baud,data bit correctly...still no output on terminal.
it would be great help, since i am struggling with this issue from past 15 days.
