Hello

I need technical guidance in selecting the SSI MODULE for micro tm4c1233h6pz.Below is my application description. Please suggest me the approriate module I can go with.

Description:
For the micro I specified I want SPI communication for
1. OLED1 MODULE
2. SD CARD
3. OLED2 MODULE

Is SSI0 or SSI1 or SSI2 or SSI3 is suitable for my application?
Kindly look into the attachment for proper understanding of my issue.

Please do support with adequate solution, as this has been a long term issue with no proper guidance.

    Hello Nethra,

    All SSI are equivalent from a function perspective. The OLED display comes on the DK-TM4C123 with SPI interface. Similar is the case for the SD Card Slot on the DK-TM4C123 EVM.

    I'll dispute that.  Has any tech forum - anywhere - revealed more caring, responsive & clear guidance than that provided by Amit, here?

    Might it be possible that your claim of "no proper guidance" resulted from your failure to provide, "proper issue description?"   And "confinement of your desire" to the MCU device alone - not to multiple, external parts - not of this vendor's issue? 

    It's your responsibility to master all nuances of external devices.   Requesting unlimited & universal design assistance - for any maker's device - exceeds the role & capability of any forum - surely you agree...

    Dear cb1

    I am not here to argue with any or Disrespect any. And my concern is to get the technical things to be cleared in the most accurate manner. Thats all. I do respect all your work. 

    By the way I dint asked for any external device assistance. I was concerned about the SSI port pins to use w.r.t. tm4c1233h6pz, when multiple slaves used simultaneously. I just made more clear using slaves name, for proper understanding of the issue.

    Hello Nethra,

    By the way the document is incomplet. When communicating with a sd_card/slave you would need the RX line from the Slave to the master SSI module as well. Also ensure that the CS is not FSS controlled but GPIO controlled as the SSI Master will deassert CS at the end of a transaction.
