ADC0 (channel-0) Interrupts configuration for desire analog threshold value of MCU TM4C123G

The ADC (as in converter) cannot provide such a functionality - you should look at the Analog comparators. Chapter 3 in the TivaWare Peripheral Driver Library User's Guide.

Also, do keep in mind that you cannot connect 12V directly to any of the pins - you need to bring the voltage down via a resistor-divider network for example. Check the device datasheet for maximum allowed levels.

The TM4C123 will not support a voltage more than VDDA or Vref for ADC conversion. So what you need to do first is to scale it down using a R-divider.

For the Interrupt mechanism, you can use the digital comparators and setup the device in continuous processor trigger. The digital comparators support the High Band Interrupt generation.

Alternatively, you can use the Analog Comparator, to do the same.

Yes, you are right, I have to scale down +12V voltage through Resistor Network. In this case my Vmax is 3.3V.
But I don't have anymore idea of how to use digital comparator to detect interrupt on 3.3V only?
Pls. guide me!

Hello Pramod,

Why not use the Analog Comparator. For e.g the use a divide by 5 n/w to scale 0-12V to 0-2.4V. Now with the ACMP set the Vref at 0xD, EN=1 and RNG=0 so that when the voltage crosses 12V, the divided voltage shall cross 2.4V which will trip an interrupt.

Thanks for reply, I read Tiva TDD for Analog comparator, its bit tedious to concentrate on Registers. It's helpful, if you give config. details of Analog comparator. So accordingly I cam modify the code with the help of API Libraries

Did you already read the TivaWare DriverLib User's Guide? The Analog Comparator functions are documented there. Ask again if there is something there you don't understand.
