Hi,

I had build one project using ccsv6 and the binary I have flashed it through the LM flash Programmer.

After flashing I wanted am unable to bring the TIVA board. Then I took the flash dumb and I compared with the binary what I took, I got two know that 3 bytes of data is differed.

Then I erased and again flashed the same binary,this time it was proper. And this happened only once. I want to know the reason for this behavior.

No I didn't checked it. But when I compared there is a difference for 3 offsets

Hello Sravan,

Has the particular device seen a lot of wear-tear due to program-erase cycles? I would suggest switching on the verifier as it will do the check for you.

Hello Amit,

No, device is fine but we have flashed many times on it.
Checksum verification I had missed it, next time I will enable the verifier.

But my doubt is, will this misfault in flashing happens??

Hello Sravan,

It depends on the flash wear-tear. I haven;t seen an issue unless the flash's end of life is closing up.

It is 100K cycles and this is mentioned in the Flash Memory Section of Electrical Chapter in the data sheet.
