HalCoGen Tool with GHS MULTI IDE

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HALCOGEN

I want to import the source files generated by the HALCOGEN Tool into the GHS MULTI IDE and compile.

Can anybody provide the guidelines? There is a document provided for the CCS Tool. Does the same procedure apply to GHS Tool as well?

  • Sai,

You can select the GHS multi tool chain when you create your project and that should do the bulk of the job,  see (a) below.

Usually there are links to appnotes on how to create projects for the IDEs (b) but I only see IAR and Keil and FreeRTOS listed.

Will check to see if there's some document for GHS.

  • Anthony,

    Thanks for your reply,

I tried the above thing i.e, the selection of GHS Tools chain during project creation and followed the steps

as given in document for CCS Tool. But I couldn't see the generated files porting into the GHS Tool.

Please check If there is any document specifically for GHS. that would be really helpful.

  • Sai,
Sorry it doesn't look like we have an appnote.
But maybe ask GHS if they have an appnote or example of how to create a project and import existing code into it.
