    Rumor has it that, "TI Doc" (equally inventive, that) knows.    He's granted (limited) work-release - alternate weekends.     (I'd not let him prescribe...)

    This is covered in the legalese portion of the datasheet (last page).  Here's the statement that is on point.

    "No TI components are authorized for use in FDA Class III (or similar life-critical medical equipment) unless authorized officers of the parties have executed a special agreement specifically governing such use."

    All the TM4C datasheets have the same statement.

    Post back if you want to discuss a special agreement.
