Tps73733 design

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EK-TM4C1294XL

In tm4c1294cncpd EK-TM4C1294XL Launchpad Evaluation kit Tps73733 was designed like added picture1. In fixed output model EN pin is  coupled with 100K ohms and NR pin is coupled OUT pin with 52.3K ohms. But in datasheet of the  fixed output  Tps73733  , These connections are not available.

  • The part used on LPad provides more output voltage flexibility - that explains those "extra" pins.

If your "fixed voltage part" is indeed 3V3 - and you install those caps (as you show) you should be fine! Install caps close to the VReg.
  • Thank you , c1
Do not I have to install the R48 and R17 , really ? I want to this regulator reduce 5 V to 3.3 V (fixed output ) and has any disadvantages to connect EN pin to Vin directly (without any component).

    thanks again...
  • You do not have to install either resistor - providing you use the part (and description) you present.

Note the listing following "EN" - "EN can be connected to IN if not used". (thus you should make that connection)
Resistors you note are not required - but you must use those caps - and mount them close to the VReg.

  • Thank you very much...
